MC Oluomo Secures Reelection as Chairman of Lagos NURTW

Musiliu Akinsanya, widely known as MC Oluomo, has been reelected for a second term as the chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos.

The reelection took place on Thursday during the 10th Quadrennial State Delegates Conference held at the union’s secretariat in Agege, Lagos State. Akinsanya ran unopposed and secured his position for another term.

In his address, MC Oluomo expressed gratitude to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his support during challenging times.

He pledged to continue implementing reform policies that have positively impacted the union’s operations in the state.

The acting national president of the union, Alhaji Ore, commended Akinsanya’s reelection, as well as the other executive members elected. He emphasized the importance of exemplary leadership, capacity, and sacrifice among those in positions of authority.

Ore urged the elected officials to promote an open administration that upholds fairness, equity, and justice. He emphasized the need for unity and harmony among members of the union at all levels.
