Time Out, a renowned British media and hospitality company known for its guides and magazines, has recently ranked Lagos as the 19th best city to visit worldwide.

The ranking was based on a comprehensive survey conducted among more than 20,000 city dwellers from around the globe. The assessment considered various factors such as the quality and affordability of food, cultural offerings, vibrant nightlife, overall ambience, strong community spirit, access to green spaces, historical landmarks, and much more.

In its report published earlier this week, Time Out highlighted its collaboration with Potentia Insight, a research company, to ensure the survey’s reliability and accuracy.

Interestingly, only three African cities made it to the list: Cape Town in South Africa secured the second position, Lagos claimed the 19th spot, and Accra in Ghana ranked 44th.

Lagos outperformed prominent cities like Melbourne in Australia, Naples in Italy, Singapore, Miami in the United States, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Beijing in China, and Montreal in Canada, among others.
