“It’s scary how young people disrespect elders” Mabel Makun rebukes critics of husband AY following his confrontation with Davido

Mabel Makun, the talented interior decorator and wife of comedian Ayo Makun, commonly known as AY, has come to his defense amidst criticism for his remarks about singer Davido.

AY found himself in hot water after a video clip of him making jokes about Davido went viral. During a recent performance, he humorously commented on Davido’s multiple baby mamas. AY jokingly referred to Davido as having a “small penis” that he used to father children with different women.

In contrast, AY highlighted his own situation, claiming to have a “big dick” but having fathered only two children with considerable gaps between their births. He expressed surprise at how Davido managed to attract so many baby mamas despite what he perceived as a small penis.

However, many internet users and Nigerians did not take kindly to AY’s joke. They found it offensive and inappropriate, criticizing him for making personal and potentially hurtful remarks about Davido and his family situation. Some felt that AY had crossed a line with his comedic approach and deemed it in poor taste.

In defense of her husband, Mabel Makun strongly criticized those who disrespect their elders, expressing concern about such behavior and urging them to improve.

The way young people disrespect elders nowadays is really becoming scary. We can do better”.
