Afrobeat sensation Davido has made a surprising revelation, stating that his manager, Asa Asika, is wealthier than him.

Their playful Twitter exchange began when Asa Asika jokingly asked Davido for some money. In response, Davido candidly acknowledged that Asa, his manager, has more wealth than him.

This conversation stemmed from Davido’s recent remark that having money becomes dull when you keep it all to yourself, implying that money is meant to be shared and enjoyed with those around you.

It’s worth recalling that in June 2023, Asa spoke in an interview with Money Entrepreneur and Author Ugo about the initial lack of recognition and discouragement he faced as an artist manager. He mentioned that even his cousin, Neto C, attempted to dissuade him.

However, Asa proudly shared that despite not having a university education, he is able to cover the salaries of over 45 employees in one of his companies. He even revealed that he likely pays more than 100 salaries each month, all without a degree.
