During the inauguration of the Goodwill Medical Centre (GMC) in Umuchigbo, Iji Nike, Enugu State, former Chief of Army Staff, Theophilus Danjuma, made allegations regarding the remarkable corruption accomplishments of former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke.

Danjuma stated that Diezani was the only Nigerian woman he knew who excelled in corruption. He acknowledged her as a record-setter who remains unmatched by anyone else.

Speaking at the event, Danjuma initially shared his belief in the ability of women to handle tasks efficiently and punctually. However, his perspective changed when he encountered Diezani, who served as the female minister of petroleum.

He expressed his astonishment at Diezani’s corruption practices, stating that she had established a record that has yet to be surpassed by anyone.

Danjuma further mentioned meeting Prof. Uche Amazigo during his speech, highlighting their long-standing relationship. He recalled their initial encounter in mid-October 2010, where Uche was accompanied by another Igbo woman, Mrs. Franca Ilamiji.
