Renowned Nollywood actor and singer, Charles Okocha, has expressed his desire for a rematch after experiencing defeat in a celebrity boxing match.

As previously reported, Charles engaged in a boxing match with singer Portable, which resulted in his loss. The two prominent personalities settled their differences through this boxing match held at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos State.

During the intense fight, Portable emerged victorious and claimed the championship belt.

Following his defeat, Charles has called for a rematch and raised concerns about the match being rigged. He questioned how people could believe that Portable defeated him when he himself had given up in the third round, which should have led to an automatic disqualification. Charles highlighted how Portable removed his gloves during the third round, which should have resulted in a complete disqualification.

Charles further criticized the referees for their lack of knowledge regarding boxing rules, suggesting that their incompetence led to Portable being declared the winner.

“How can you give up on the 3rd round when we have 4 rounds? How do you take off your gloves in the 3rd round that’s total disqualification when the fight hasn’t ended. Y’all know this shit was rigged plus an incompetent referee that knows nothing about boxing rules. Nevertheless, we move on, rematch soon”.
