Street performer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has finally spoken out following his victory over actor Charles Okocha in a high-profile boxing match.

According to a report by Vistanaij Media, the altercation between the two celebrities began online when Portable accused Okocha of cheating him. Portable claimed that Okocha had received a staggering 40 million Naira from promoters for a show in Desmond, Abuja, but he himself only received a mere 5 million Naira.

Feeling aggrieved by the unequal distribution of funds, Portable publicly called out Okocha, branding him a thief for his unfair treatment.

In response, Okocha asserted that he was the brains behind the deal and had merely invited Portable as a guest, even going as far as flying him from Lagos to Abuja for the event. Okocha argued that since there was no formal agreement, he paid Portable what he believed to be a reasonable amount – 5 million Naira.

Disputing Okocha’s version of events, Portable challenged him to a showdown in Lagos.

On Tuesday night, the two stars settled their dispute through a boxing match held at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos State. The event, which took place on Boxing Day, was sanctioned by Heritage Boxing Entertainment and lasted approximately 40 minutes, commencing at 1 am.

During the intense fight, Portable emerged as the victor, securing the title of champion and proudly proclaiming himself a heavyweight champion on his Instagram page. He declared that the streets had triumphed.
