Nollywood actress Biola Bayo is among the celebrities who have been deeply affected by the passing of emerging Nigerian singer Mohbad.
The 27-year-old singer, who was a father, tragically passed away last week following reported complications from an ear injection. Despite the passing of a week since his demise, many are still restless, with unanswered questions surrounding the circumstances of his death.
Biola Bayo took to her Instagram page to express her thoughts, highlighting the restlessness experienced by Mohbad’s former label, Marlian, as well as his family, fans, and fellow celebrities. Alongside offering prayers, she reflected on the phenomenon of certain individuals shining even in death.
She also shared her struggle to maintain her mental well-being due to the distressing videos circulating online, noting that Mohbad’s songs now carry an air of reverence in her perception.
“Na wa oh! Mohbad songs are now sounding like praise and worship that’s always in my head. This is a typical example of E ni sun (You will not sleep). Abi how many people are sleeping again bayi?
