Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has instructed all political appointees to prepare their handover notes in readiness for his second term, which will begin on May 29, 2023.

Speaking at the inauguration of a Transition Committee in Bauchi on Wednesday, Mohammed emphasized the importance of the incoming commissioners being adequately informed about the structures and responsibilities of the state’s ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs). The governor noted that the transition committee was not formed to hand over to another government but to ensure a seamless transition to a higher level of his administration’s performance.

The committee comprises members from all 20 local government areas of the state, with Architect Audu Katagum as its Chairman and Alhaji Samaila Burga as its Secretary.
