Deji Adeyanju, a rights activist, has taken a stand and demanded the arrest of Asari Dokubo, a former Niger Delta militant.

The petition reads partly: “The extant viral clip of Dokubo Asari threatening Governor Fubara should be abhorrently intolerable. A sitting governor is equivalent to the will of the people.

“Dokubo and his gun wielding thugs front themselves who are not effectively restricted by the constitution or bound by the rule of law.

“Therefore, sir, I submit that Dokubo Asari be arrested effective and immediately for threat to national security and utter disregard for the rule of law.”
