Youths insulting elders on social media shouldn’t try me Actress Foluke Daramola sends strong warning to Nigerian youths (Video)

Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola Salako has strongly warned Nigerian youths who engage in the habit of “insulting elders” on social media. On Tuesday night, the Yoruba movie star took to her Instagram page to condemn the constant disrespect of elders by the youths. Daramola expressed her dissatisfaction with the behavior, which she described as a “pandemic.”

The actress queried what happened to the country’s value system as she noted that the youths have “lost their values” and have been disrespecting their elders because of modernization. According to her, in the next five years, the youths would begin to beat their parents because many parents are condoning their bad behavior.

Foluke Daramola stated that disrespecting her would have severe consequences and challenged the youths to disrespect her. She called on everyone not to visit her page to write rubbish, emphasizing that she is a disciplinarian and would not tolerate bad behavior.

She described the situation as a pandemic that people are not taking cognizance of and warned of a crisis that might arise in years to come if it continues. Daramola believes that when the youths who engage in such behaviors start having kids, it would be challenging to raise them, given their disrespect for elders.

The actress concluded by stating that she stands for values, culture, and what is right, and would not condone any form of disrespect from anyone.
