Yoruba Nollywood icons celebrate Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in Presidential election

Yoruba Nollywood actors are rejoicing following Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election.

According to Vistanaij Media, The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, as the president-elect on Tuesday night.

Tinubu, a former Lagos State governor, won the election after polling 8,794,726 votes. The announcement was made by the INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, at the International Collation Centre in Abuja during the early hours of Wednesday. Tinubu defeated other candidates such as Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.

Yoruba Nollywood stars, including Joke Silva, Eniola Badmus, Dayo Amusa, Ijebu, Saidi Balogun, and Eniola Ajao, took to their respective Instagram pages to express their excitement over Tinubu’s victory. They rejoiced with the new president and congratulated him on his win.
