Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has opened up about reconciling with her ex-husband after previously declaring the end of their relationship.

During an episode of the Goldroom talk show, Wumi Toriola discussed her personal life with fellow actress Iyabo Ojo.

The actress, who is already a mother to one child, expressed her desire to have more children, preferably one or two, and emphasised her wish to have them with a single partner. While hinting at a potential reconciliation with her ex-husband, Wumi Toriola made it clear that she would not provide further details on the matter.

Earlier, Wumi Toriola had confirmed the breakdown of her marriage to her son’s father, just three years into their union.

Reflecting on the year 2022, the actress revealed that she had chosen to walk away from a domestically violent and abusive relationship in order to prioritize her mental well-being.

In contrast, her ex-husband had a different perspective, claiming that their marriage was characterized by violence, deceit, and betrayal on Wumi Toriola’s part. He described their union as a complete regret and further alleged that Wumi had physically assaulted his mother.

Responding to these accusations, Wumi Toriola took to her Instagram page to refute the claims, asserting that she had never resorted to physical violence against her mother-in-law or her own mother. She stated that she had witnesses who could support her.
