Renowned singer Ayodeji Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, is currently experiencing a heartbreaking moment as he grieves the loss of his beloved mother, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun.

Mrs Balogun passed away in the early hours of Friday, August 18th, around 1.30 am. The sad news was confirmed by Wizkid’s long-time manager, Sunday Aare, who expressed his condolences to The Punch.

He stated, “Yes, she died this morning, at about 1.30 am.”

The deceased leaves behind three children: Ayodeji Balogun (Wizkid), Yetunde Balogun, and Lade Balogun, as her cherished legacy.
