Burna Boy, the popular Afrobeats artist, has provided an explanation for his management’s decision to restrict his access to his Twitter account.
According to the musician, his management team has taken this step due to his strong aversion to disrespectful behavior. By limiting his involvement on Twitter, they aim to protect him from the platform’s persistently hostile environment.
During an interview on Kiss Fresh FM, Burna Boy expressed his belief that if he were to have full control over his account, the situation would likely escalate significantly.
A video featuring Burna Boy discussing this matter has recently gained traction on the internet.
He said: “If I had access to my account, everywhere would be shaking every day. The ground will be elevated based on my feelings and I don’t like disrespect.
“They always try to disrespect me on the internet. So, my team didn’t let me at them. If not, then the ground will elevate. I will spend too much time there; honestly, I will spend a lot of time there.”
