Even after his passing, the late Nigerian singer Mohbad continues to receive acts of kindness. Actresses Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh have committed themselves to ensuring that the 27-year-old has a fitting burial, following the conclusion of investigations into his death.

In a video posted on Iyabo Ojo’s social media page, she, along with Tonto Dikeh and others, was seen at Ebony Vaults in Ikoyi, Lagos. This is set to be Mohbad’s final resting place. After Tonto Dikeh offered to foot the bill for Mohbad’s casket, the CEO of the vault generously provided one free of charge, along with additional services.

As Iyabo jubilantly stated, Tonto immediately knelt down to express her gratitude to the man,

“A visit to EBONY VAULT IKOYI in preparation for General MOHBAD’s befitting burial…The Ceo of @ebonyfuneralng gave us a free casket, a free hall, huge discount for the vault, free pall bearers, free horns men, two fresh wreaths, wreath bearers and horse carriage.”

The video was met with a flood of positive reactions from the online community, who offered prayers and well wishes for the actresses’ efforts.

Comments ranged from blessings for their kindness to lamentations about not doing more for Mohbad while he was still alive. Many voiced their continuing support for justice for Mohbad, affirming that the late singer remains a star in the hearts of his fans.
