Tiwa Savage scheduled to give a performance during the coronation of King Charles III

Award-winning Afrobeats singer, Tiwa Savage has been announced as one of the performers at the Coronation ceremony of the King of England, King Charles III. The King will officially be crowned on Saturday, May 6th, and the Coronation concert and Coronation Big Lunch are set to occur on Sunday, May 7th.

Tiwa Savage’s performance at the coronation is expected to make Nigerians proud, as she shares the stage with many notable singers from around the world. The likes of Paloma Faith, Steve Winwood, Olly Murs, and DJ Pete Tong are also set to perform at the coronation.

The Coronation is a celebration in honor of King Charles, who ascended the throne after the passing of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, last year. Buckingham Palace has revealed plans for a festive celebration lasting three days, which will include several notable events. Among these events is a concert featuring famous celebrities at Windsor Castle and a series of street parties that will take place throughout the country.
