Tacha, the disqualified contestant from Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem season 4, has weighed in on the social media controversy involving Davido and BBNaija season 7 housemate, Phyna.

Recently, Davido faced backlash online for liking a tweet that insulted Phyna. The popular afrobeat singer, who had just welcomed twins, trended on the microblogging platform for endorsing a tweet that labeled Phyna as useless.

A Twitter user had mentioned Phyna as one of the celebrities they couldn’t understand why people supported and admired.

Phyna responded to Davido’s involvement in the negative comment made about her on the X app (formerly known as Twitter), expressing her surprise and stating, “Wetin I do @davido na wah oh, the hate is real…… Congratulations on your twins sha”

Davido later apologized to Phyna, claiming that his actions were a mistake. However, he also insulted her by asserting that he didn’t know who she was.

In support of Phyna, Tacha took to Twitter and affirmed that Phyna is widely recognized, including by herself.

“I know you Phyna. We plenty wey know you.”
