Sonia Ighalo, the former wife of footballer Jude Ighalo, has responded to a fan’s suggestion that she should reconcile with him.

The fan had complimented Sonia’s appearance and urged her to reconsider her relationship with the footballer in a comment on her social media post.

“You too beautiful ma, consider going back to Ighalo”.

In her response, Sonia thanked the fan for the compliments but emphasised that she has moved on from her past with Ighalo. She urged fans to respect her current life and choices.

“Hello sweetie. Thank you for your compliment. In life, there is something known as an upgrade. Ighalo is my past. Please respect my present”.

Sharing the exchange on her Instagram story, Sonia warned her followers that she does not want to receive such advice in the future, threatening to block anyone who continues to offer it.

“I’d prefer not to receive messages on this issue; otherwise, you may be blocked. Learn to respect other people’s life choices”.
