Skitmaker Lasisi – “I Sold One of my Organ to Marry My Wife”

Popular comedian Lasisi Elenu recently joined the bandwagon of a viral video trend alongside his lovely wife.

This particular trend involves individuals starting their sentences with the phrase “of course I’m…” while highlighting a characteristic that represents who they are.

Lasisi and his wife enthusiastically embraced this challenge, using their intertribal marriage as the focal point of their conversation.

Lasisi disclosed that one prominent indication of his marriage to an Igbo woman is the hefty bride price he had to pay to marry her. In his own words, he amusingly stated, “Of course I’m married to an Igbo woman, I had to part with one of my organs to have her as my wife.”

His wife playfully joined in the challenge by revealing another characteristic of being married to a Yoruba man—their inclination to use “iru” (locust bean) in almost every dish they prepare. She humorously said, “Of course I’m married to a Yoruba man, I include iru in everything I cook, even eggs!”

Lasisi continued to share humorous anecdotes, highlighting another trait of being married to an Igbo woman, which involves sharing his shaving stick with her, subtly implying that Igbo women tend to have more body hair.

As the video progressed, the duo amusingly continued to good-naturedly tease and call out each other’s respective tribes.
