Sweery Eke, the sister of Mercy Eke, the winner of Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem, has come forward to defend her against allegations of age falsification.

Previously, during the All-Stars show, Mercy Eke claimed to be turning 30, but her passport revealed otherwise, indicating that she was in her late 30s. The topic of her age resurfaced when a clear image of her international passport, showing her actual age as 35, circulated online.

In support of her sister, Sweery took to her Instagram page and shared a screenshot of Mercy’s birth certificate. She also commented on how, even in 2050, people will continue to discuss her sister’s achievements and age.

Although Mercy advised Sweery not to address the issue, Sweery felt it was necessary to put an end to the speculation, stating that her sister’s detractors could continue their hatred from a distance.

Sweery further mentioned that the only reason people criticize her sister is due to the level of success she has achieved at the age of 30. She then proceeded to list Mercy Eke’s accomplishments.

According to the birth certificate, the reality star was born in September 1993 and will be turning 31 this year.

Even though my sister asked me not to post this, it’s high time we end all this madness, y’all can hate from your trenches, my sister is clear, the only thing y’all have against her is the level of Success, at 30yrs, 3 houses, 3 company’s, lands, cars and living her best life… y’all got nothing on my sister asides lies and jealousy. it’s 2024, get busy or you will still be here running mad at my sister’s success and age come 2050.
