Singer Patoranking Shares Heartbreak and Disbelief Over Mohbad’s Passing
Nigerian singer Patoranking has expressed his profound sadness over the passing of his fellow musician, Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad, who tragically died last month.
During a recent interview, Patoranking shared his feelings of heartbreak, revealing that it is incredibly difficult for him to accept the reality that Mohbad is no longer with us. He expressed the sadness he experiences when he opens his phone and sees pictures of Mohbad, realizing that he will never return.
Patoranking recalled a direct message (DM) he sent to Mohbad in April, praising him for his contributions to the music industry, with Mohbad graciously responding.
Expressing his deep concern, Patoranking emphasized that Mohbad did not deserve what happened to him. He expressed the importance of seeking justice for the late singer, considering it a crucial matter.
“It’s so sad when you open your phone and you see Mohbad’s pictures and you come to the realization that he is not coming back again. It’s still hard to believe that he is gone. I sent him a DM in April just to commend his work and he replied me. He didn’t deserve what happened to him. Seeking Justice for him is very important and I stand by it. It is very good to pay attention to lyrics. If we had paid attention to lyrics we would have seen signs from Mohbad”.
