Senator Applauds Nigerian Military for Neutralizing Bandit Leader and 50 Others

Mohammed Sani Musa, the Senator representing Niger East Senatorial District, has expressed his appreciation to the Nigerian Military for successfully neutralizing Yellow Jambros, a notorious bandit leader, and 50 other criminals in his constituency.

Senator Sani, who also serves as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, issued a statement commending the Military for their swift action in response to the activities of Jambros, which had caused immense suffering for the people in his constituency.

He stated, “My constituents are finally experiencing a sense of relief after years of massacres, kidnappings, and extensive property destruction. We reached out to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the Nigerian Military, and they have listened and responded to the pleas of my people. We commend them for the achievements thus far.”

Senator Sani emphasized the need to intensify efforts in combating criminals and urged the Military and other security agencies operating in the area to remain relentless until the menace is fully eradicated.

He also highlighted a significant accomplishment, stating, “I have received reliable information that the Minna-Sarkin pawa-Kaduna Link Road, which had been abandoned by commuters for over ten years due to bandit activities, is now open and safe for motorists. This is a remarkable success and deserves high commendation.”

It was reported that Yellow Jambros and more than 50 members of his gang met their demise while attempting to escape the security forces during an operation led by the Joint Security Taskforce in communities around Shiroro and Munya local government areas of the state.
