Reality TV personality Doyin has taken to her Instagram story today to reveal the reasons behind her decision to stop attending church.

Through her Instagram story, she shared a recent statement from a pastor based in the United States, explaining why she no longer frequents church. The statement disclosed that the US pastor had confessed to embezzling $1.3 million from his congregation, claiming that he was instructed to do so by God.

Both the pastor and his wife were accused of engaging in fraudulent activities, justifying their actions by attributing them to divine guidance.

Doyin David expressed disbelief at the pastor’s attempt to shift the blame onto God, and she questioned how the churchgoers would defend such irrational behavior.

She emphasized that the standards of religious institutions are steadily declining, to the extent that certain statements now appear utterly foolish to discerning individuals.
