Queen Tobi Philips, one of the wives of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has expressed her confidence online hours after her husband took a new wife.

In a video shared on her official Instagram page, Queen Tobi Philips expressed gratitude to her fans for their concern during her absence from the photo-sharing app.

The elegant queen, acknowledging the high level of pressure she faces, playfully urged her followers to brace themselves for a series of captivating content.

She wrote, “Pressure Ti Wa 🥰 Y’all better fasten your seat belt cos back to back lewwksss.”

Queen Tobi Philip’s post comes in the wake of reports that the Ooni of Ife had taken a new wife, shortly after his wives caused a stir online. It was announced that the Ife monarch had married a lady named Queen Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda as his sixth wife.

According to City People, an invitation was issued to family and friends of the Ooni’s royal circle for a Thanksgiving service scheduled to take place on Saturday, the 20th of May, 2023.

The event will be preceded by the traditional entry of the Queen into the ancient Ife Oodua Palace of Ile-Ife on Thursday.
