Uche Secondus, former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), along with members of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council in Rivers State for the 2023 general elections, have declared their support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Dr. Abiye Sekibo, former Minister of Transportation and Director-General of PDP-PCC Rivers State, made this announcement during a press briefing in Port Harcourt on Thursday. The briefing was attended by notable figures including Secondus, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Austin Opara, former Deputy Governor Celestine Omehia, Senator Lee Maeba, and former Secretary to the Rivers State Government Dr. Gabriel Pidomson, among others.

It’s worth noting that the council had previously supported Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate in the last elections held in 2023.
