On a recent Friday, the Lagos State Police Command divulged findings from an investigation at the Lekki residence of the late musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. The revelations were made during a press conference held in Ikeja, where the State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, spoke to the media.

Recall that the inquiry into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s demise on September 12 is ongoing. CP Owohunwa mentioned that a team from the Nigerian Police Force had been dispatched to Mohbad’s Lekki home as part of the investigation.

The primary objective was to acquire CCTV footage capturing the activities within the singer’s abode prior to his unfortunate passing. However, they encountered a hurdle as the CCTV camera was discovered to be dysfunctional, thwarting potential leads on the occurrences of that fateful day.

Despite this challenge, the investigative team managed to unearth syringes and traces of drugs within the premises. These were identified to have been utilised by the assistant nurse tasked with Mohbad’s medical care, shedding some light on the situation during the singer’s final days.
