Numerous internet users have expressed their disappointment on social media regarding the perceived lack of connection when Wizkid shared a hug with his son, Bolu.

It is worth recalling that Boluwatife Balogun is Wizkid’s first son from his former partner, Shola Ogudu. In 2018, Shola Ogudu had released their text messages on social media, alleging that Wizkid did not show care towards their son.

During his mother’s wake-keep and tribute, as Wizkid was leaving the event, he took a moment to briefly hug his son. However, this display of affection did not sit well with many Nigerians, prompting their disappointment and criticism on various online platforms.

Nevertheless, Wizkid has repeatedly refuted such claims, asserting his equal love for all his children. Notably, all of his kids, except his second son Ayodeji, were in attendance at the event.
