Odunlade Adekola Gives Positive Update on Azeez Ijaduade, Shot by Nigerian Police

Odunlade Adekola, a popular Nollywood actor and box office sensation, has provided an update on his colleague, Azeez Ijaduade, who was shot by a member of the Nigerian police.

According to a report by Vistanaij Media, the Yoruba movie director is currently receiving treatment at Babcock University Teaching Hospital after the incident.

Concerned about his condition, fellow actors took to social media to raise awareness, with Afeez Owo appealing to well-meaning Nigerians for assistance and disclosing the director’s location. Although the specific type of help needed was not mentioned, Afeez implored Nigerians to come to the director’s aid due to his critical condition.

Kolawole Ajeyemi also shared a video on his Instagram page, showing Azeez Ijaduade lying on a hospital bed, requesting prayers and healing for his recovery.

Now, Odunlade Adekola has taken to his own Instagram page to provide an update, expressing gratitude to God for sparing Azeez’s leg. He confirmed that the director is alive and responding to treatment, sharing a video of himself, Azeez, and Biodun Adebanjo at the hospital.
