The Yoruba sector of the Nollywood film industry is currently in a state of mourning following the passing of veteran actor Deji Aderemi Olofa Ina. The actor’s demise occurred just a few days after the start of the new year in 2024.

The sad news was initially shared by Seun Oloketuyi, a renowned film producer and the Chief Executive Officer of BEst of Nollywood (BON), through his Instagram page.

Confirming the death of Deji Aderemi Olofa Ina, another veteran actor, Saidi Balogun, took to his official Instagram page. Alongside a photo of the late actor, Balogun wrote, “Good Night Legend Chief Deji Akinremi (Olofa Ina) RIP.”
