Nigeria’s Aviation Sector: FG Reveals Long-Term Low-Emission Strategy at COP28

The Federal Government has introduced Nigeria’s Long-Term Low Emission Development Strategy for the aviation sector during the ongoing Conference of Parties in Dubai.

Festus Keyamo, the Minister for Aviation and Aerospace Development, made the announcement through a statement from his Special Adviser on Digital Media, Gbenga Saka.

The strategy launch demonstrates Nigeria’s firm commitment to adopting environmentally responsible practices and aims to accelerate sustainable economic progress, address climate change challenges, and promote low-carbon growth.

The statement highlighted the significance of the event, stating that it marked a significant milestone in Nigeria’s journey towards a low-carbon future.
