A Super Mushshak trainer aircraft belonging to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) crashed in Kaduna. The crash occurred at approximately 2:35 pm local time.

According to Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, the spokesperson for NAF, there were no casualties as both pilots managed to escape unharmed. The aircraft crashed around 3.5 nautical miles from the Kaduna Military Airfield while the pilots were returning from a routine training flight.

In light of the incident, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, the Chief of Air Staff, has ordered a preliminary investigation to determine the cause of the crash. The statement released by NAF mentioned that the chief has taken immediate action to initiate the investigation.
