Social media users are in disagreement following Tiwa Savage’s recent petition against her former best friend and fellow musician, Davido.

According to a report by Vistanaij Media, the ongoing feud between these two celebrities, which initially revolved around Davido’s ex-partner, Sophia Momodu, has now taken a new turn with Savage filing a police petition against Davido.

In her petition, Savage disclosed that an Instagram story featuring her and Momodu triggered Davido to verbally abuse and threaten her. In response, she decided to sever ties with him, highlighting her past support during his difficult times.

Savage claimed that mutual friends of hers and Davido’s approached her, questioning her actions as Davido was spreading negative remarks about her and portraying her as the aggressor in the situation involving Sophia. She expressed feeling harassed both online and offline as a result.

This petition has caused a division of opinions regarding Davido, with some pointing out his history of using threats against those who do not comply with him.
