The Katsina State Command of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) recently conducted a decoration ceremony to honor 77 senior and middle cadre officers who were promoted.

Mr. Muhammad Abdulmumin-Haruna, the State Controller, attributed the officers’ promotions to their dedication and hard work. He expressed gratitude to the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and the Controller General of NCoS, Mr. Halliru Nababa, for approving the promotions.

Abdulmumin-Haruna stated, “As the adage goes, ‘to whom much is given, much is expected.’ Your promotion was a welfare package to motivate you to do even more.”

Retired ACG Sanusi Ma’azu-Danmusa, in his remarks, urged the officers to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and national service.

CSC Abdulrasheed Usman, speaking on behalf of the decorated officers, expressed appreciation to the Controller General of NCoS for recognizing their merit and promoting them. He assured that the officers were ready and committed to fulfilling all their responsibilities within the scope of the service’s mandates.
