On Wednesday, the members of the organized Labour Unions in Abuja protested against the removal of fuel subsidy.

The protesters, totaling over 5,000, initially gathered at the Unity Fountain before marching to the Federal Ministry of Justice and finally reaching the National Assembly.

Unfortunately, the security officials failed to comply with their demands, leading to frustration among the protesters. In a display of anger, they pulled down the gates of the National Assembly and entered the assembly complex.

The ongoing protest in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, involves the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC), as reported by Vistanaij Media.
