Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has expressed her thoughts following her recent appointment by the Osun State government.

According to a report by Vistanaij Media, Laide Bakare has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor for Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism. Photos and videos circulating online captured the actress signing her appointment letter alongside Governor Adeleke.

Taking to her Instagram page, Laide Bakare shared the news, stating that it marks the beginning of her political journey. She referred to herself as “honorable” and expressed gratitude to Governor Adeleke for entrusting her with the role. She pledged to give her best and prayed for the empowerment to fulfill her responsibilities.
