Funke Akindele, a popular Nollywood actress and Box office Queen, recently discussed her perspective on her divorces, explaining why she doesn’t view them as failures.

During an interview with Wazobia Max TV, the talented actress, who has been married twice and has twins from her second marriage, shared that she doesn’t consider her broken marriages as failures. Funke revealed that her late mother instilled in her the belief that failure is a necessary stepping stone to success. She emphasized that she takes life as it comes and prioritizes her health and career.

As a mother of two who has broken box office records, Funke expressed that her main focus is leading a meaningful life and providing for her children and siblings.

“If you ask me now can you tell me one fail¥re, I don’t see it as a fail¥re. My personal life – marriage, I just take it as it comes. My mental health is very important. My career is very important, darling.

I have to make an impact. I have to empower a lot of people. I have to inspire young people out there. I have to stay strong for my children and my siblings. Why am I living? I have a purpose, so my head is up. Yes, I cr¥, yes I break down, but after I cr¥, I just clean the t£ars, look in the mirror, and keep moving”.
