Former Osun Commissioner, Remi Wilson, Passes Away

Remi Wilson, who previously served as the Commissioner for Finance in Osun State, has sadly passed away.

According to reports, Wilson died in the early hours of Tuesday, December 26, at her residence in Ilobu, Irepodun Local Government Area of Osun State.

Sources indicate that Wilson had celebrated Christmas Day with guests who remained at her home until late in the evening. Despite appearing active and without any signs of illness, she suddenly passed away around 4:00 am on Tuesday.

During her career, Wilson held the position of Commissioner for Finance and later became the Commissioner for Women Affairs under the administration of former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola. Prior to her passing, she had switched her political affiliation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
