Femi Adesina criticizes Bishop Kukah for expressing disappointment over ‘under cassock privileges’ not granted by President Buhari

Femi Adesina, the former spokesperson for ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, has launched a verbal attack against Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah of the Sokoto Catholic Diocese in response to Kukah’s recent comments.

Adesina claimed that Kukah’s criticism stemmed from his disappointment in not receiving favorable treatment from Buhari.

During a lecture in Ado Ekiti commemorating the 60th anniversary of Aare Afe Babalola’s call to the bar, Kukah asserted on Monday that Nigeria witnessed a deeply troubling level of corruption under Buhari’s administration.

He emphasized that this corruption was not initiated by Buhari but rather flourished under his presidency.

Reacting, Adesina tweeted: “Who listens to that Bishop again. He’s still pained that he got no under-the-cassock patronage from Buhari, unlike in the past. As e dey pain them, e dey sweet us.”
