Family offers younger sister to groom after bride’s death during wedding ceremony, to continue with the wedding.

In Bhavnagar, India, a tragic incident occurred during a wedding ceremony when the bride, Hetal, suffered a heart attack and died while performing her wedding rituals.

The ceremony, which was taking place in front of the Bhagwaneshwar Mahadev Temple, was halted, and Hetal was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Despite their grief, the family agreed to continue with the wedding celebrations by offering Hetal’s younger sister to marry the groom, Vishal.

The wedding took place with Hetal’s body being kept in cold storage until the end of the ceremony. The incident has been described as very sad by local leaders, and it is not the first time that a family has given away another daughter after one died during a wedding ceremony in India.
