In a moment of celebration for avid followers of the Big Brother Naija All Stars show, Seyi Awolowo, one of the housemates, has been evicted from the reality series.

According to a report by Vistanaij Media on Sunday night, Seyi found himself in the bottom three during the eviction process, ultimately leading to his departure after a six-week stint on the show. Alongside Seyi, Ike Onyema also bid farewell as the ninth housemate to be evicted.

Former housemates Tacha Akide, Erica Nlewedim, and Vee Iye took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter (now referred to as X), to express their joy over Seyi’s eviction. Tacha amusingly taunted Seyi, bidding him farewell and mocking his meager vote share of 0.89%.

“Goodbye, 0.89%! We WON!!!!”

Tacha shared a video clip of a man singing a gospel worship song, implying that it summed up her feelings towards the situation. Erica Nlewedim, on the other hand, took a dig at Seyi, who apparently believed he was the driving force behind the show while in the house.

“But he was carrying the show.”

Vee Iye observed how the audience rejoiced over Seyi’s eviction, expressing her astonishment.

“The audience. No fucking way.”
