Embassies Are No Longer Safe, Amid Escalating Tensions – Iran Issues Warning to Israel

According to a senior Iranian official, Israel’s embassies are no longer considered safe. Yahya Rahim Safavi, a senior adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, emphasized that Israel should no longer perceive its embassies as secure havens. These remarks were reported by the semi-official Tasnim news agency.

Safavi stated that Tehran views confrontation with Israel as a “legitimate and legal right.” The warning comes in the wake of escalating tensions between the two nations. In a graphic published by Iran’s semi-official ISNA news agency, nine different types of Iranian missiles were showcased, purportedly capable of targeting Israel.

Last week, an airstrike destroyed Iran’s consulate in Damascus, resulting in the deaths of at least 11 individuals, including a senior commander in the al-Quds force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps. Iran has vowed to seek revenge for this attack. However, Israel has not officially confirmed its involvement in the strike on Damascus. The situation remains highly volatile.
