Renowned Nigerian dancer, Poco Lee, has broken his silence regarding the passing of Mohbad, sharing his insights for the first time.

Taking to his Instagram page, Poco Lee revealed that he recently had a conversation with Bella Shmurda, a close friend of Mohbad, during which Bella disclosed details about the singer’s death.

According to Poco Lee, Bella is the sole individual who truly understands the challenges Mohbad faced. He claimed that Bella informed him that Mohbad had been appearing to him in a state of distress.

Poco Lee further stated that Bella revealed Mohbad’s long-standing struggle with a lack of confidence and self-doubt, even questioning whether people would listen to his music.

Additionally, Poco Lee expressed that Bella Shmurda intends to come forward and share more, asserting that the truth will ultimately prevail.

“Bella the only man who literally knows what Mohbad (RIP) really went through. Just got off the phone with Bella & he said in his words that Mohbad has been appearing to him crying. Bella further said Mohbad lost self-esteem long time he even doubted himself about dropping a song wondering if people would listen to him. No long talk Bella is coming & the truth shall prevail”.

Prior to Mohbad’s passing, Bella Shmurda had shared a harrowing account of how Mohbad had contemplated suicide.

Bella extensively discussed Mohbad’s struggles with his record label, Marlians, which is owned by Naira Marley, and how his girlfriend had saved him from taking such a drastic step.

Bella strongly criticized Naira Marley and the label for pretending that everything was fine between Mohbad and the management.

Show manager Paul Okoye, also known as Pauloo, had acknowledged how Mohbad had confided in him about his fears, harassment, and depression.

Despite facing numerous challenges, Mohbad had shown resilience and zest for life. Unfortunately, his promising future was abruptly cut short.

Mohbad was previously signed to Naira Marley’s record label, “Marlian Records,” but he parted ways with the label in 2022.

It’s worth noting that during an Instagram live session following his release from the NDLEA’s camp, Mohbad had made allegations that Naira Marley and other members of the group were a threat to his life.

He expressed his belief that Naira Marley and Marlian Music would play a role in his demise, urging his fans to hold the label boss accountable for any harm that may befall him.

Additionally, the singer and rapper had shared video clips portraying an alleged assault he endured at the hands of Naira Marley’s crew after he requested a change in his manager.

However, Naira Marley has denied these allegations.
