According to sources, Chichi, a participant in the ‘shine ya eyes’ season of Big Brother Naija, has initiated a legal action seeking N100 million in damages from her fellow contestant, Phyna.

Vistanaij Media reported that during the BBNaija Reunion, Phyna engaged in a heated argument where she accused Chichi of abandoning her husband and children in Benin City, leading to the death of one of her children. Phyna also claimed that Chichi used the deaths of her parents as a strategic move to win the show.

In addition, Phyna age-shamed Chichi, asserting that she is 33 years old, and referred to her as a stripper. Moreover, Phyna alleged that Chichi poisoned her friend in Cyprus out of jealousy, which she posted on her Snapchat.

In response, Chichi has taken legal action against Phyna through her attorneys. They argue that the accusation of poisoning in Cyprus is baseless, false, and defamatory. The lawsuit further emphasizes that Phyna’s statements have adversely affected Chichi’s reputation, resulting in the loss of several endorsement deals and tarnishing her image.
