Burna Boy, the Grammy award-winning singer, has shown his condolences to his fellow artist Wizkid following the loss of his late mother.

According to a report by Vistanaij Media, Wizkid’s mother, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, passed away in the early hours of Friday, August 18th. Sunday Aare, Wizkid’s long-time manager, confirmed the unfortunate news to The Punch, stating that she passed away at approximately 1:30 am.

During his concert in Detroit, Burna Boy took a moment to pay tribute to the departed. Referring to Wizkid as his brother, he expressed his empathy for Wizkid’s pain, mentioning that he couldn’t fathom the feeling of losing his own mother.

“Before I go on, one of my brothers lost his mother, Wizkid. I want to say Rest In Peace to his mother. I can’t imagine how it would be to lose my own mama”.
