Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola has responded to a viral video featuring former Big Brother Naija contestant Kaisha, who was being criticized for her new business venture.

According to Vistanaij Media, Kaisha’s sister Zaynab, who bears a resemblance to her, shared a video on TikTok showcasing her provision store stocked with items such as noodles, milk, sweets, and more.

In the video, Zaynab gave a tour of her spacious warehouse filled with various provisions. However, a social media user, mistaking her for Kaisha, mocked her living conditions following her appearance on the reality show.

Bolaji took to her Instagram page to defend Kaisha, expressing her strong reaction to the post due to her own past experiences. She highlighted the struggles faced by celebrities in Hollywood and Nigerian entertainers, particularly given the current economic situation. Bolaji questioned whether fans believe that one’s source of income is always sufficient, especially when supporting multiple dependents.

Directing her comments to individuals like the troll, she advised them to move on if they had nothing positive to say about a young woman who is working hard and striving to improve her financial situation.

“This entire post has got me triggered because I have experienced something similar and this was said to my face.

If celebrities in Hollywood are complaining that they don’t make enough what do you think people in Nigeria are making??? With the current economy you think one source of income is enough????
If you see young women working hard and trying to double their money in whatever legit way and you have nothing nice to say, just keep it moving and don’t drop any silly comment.

Some of us have too many mouths to feed and we have so many things we want to achieve and we have to work extremely hard to get it.

If you see me in Lagos island market (yes I have a store there) trying to sell you sanitary pad please patronize me or keep it moving. We are not ashamed to work and it’s okay if you buy into the lies people feed you on social media but don’t put me on any form of pedestal that I didn’t ask for.
