Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, and his family are going through a difficult time as they mourn the loss of their beloved father.

Bobrisky shared the sad news on his Snapchat account earlier today, informing his followers that his father, Kunle Okuneye, passed away in the early hours of Monday, August 14th.

“Guys, I lost my daddy this morning”, he wrote.

Although Bobrisky did not provide specific details about his father’s demise, his brother, Debola Okuneye, spoke to Punch and revealed that their father would be laid to rest today in accordance with Islamic customs.

Debola confirmed the news of their father’s passing and mentioned that preparations for the funeral were underway.

“Yes my father died this morning, and we are making preparations for his burial”.

A close friend and colleague of the deceased, referred to as ‘Lastbborn’, disclosed that the burial would take place at 4 pm in Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State, the hometown of the deceased.

Lastborn, who worked as the Secretary of Beach Nigeria Enterprises, a car rental company where Bobrisky’s father held a directorial position, confirmed the burial arrangements and emphasized that it was scheduled for later in the day.

“Yes, you saw it. It’s true; he will be buried by 4 pm today”, Lastborn said.
