Tacha Akide, a former participant of the reality show Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem,’ has strongly criticized fellow contestant Mike Edwards for publicly distancing himself from Seyi Awolowo following his offensive comment.

According to a report by Vistanaij Media, Seyi Awolowo faced significant backlash after making a disturbing statement regarding his future sons’ involvement in sexual activities with girls, using the term “running train” to describe multiple men having sex with a woman one after the other, with or without consent. He made this comment during a conversation with fellow housemates White Money and Soma.

Seyi, the grandson of the late Obafemi Awolowo, expressed his intention to create a separate account, known as a ‘shina’ or miscellaneous account, specifically for his sons and their friends to engage in such activities.

He reiterated his determination to raise sons who would carry out these reprehensible actions towards girls, even envisioning a time when his sons would request access to his Mercedes Benz and the key to a guest house for encounters with girls.

Mike Edwards, who had been a vocal supporter of Seyi and had previously voted to save him when he was up for eviction as a member of the Jury, has now withdrawn his support. Expressing his regret, he stated that he does not tolerate such behavior. “I don’t condone this behavior,” he tweeted.

In response, Tacha admonished Mike, telling him to be quiet and move on. She also referred to him as a joker for distancing himself from Seyi. “Just STFU and keep it moving, joker!!” she tweeted.

Dorathy, who was among the jurors that voted to save Seyi, has expressed remorse for her decision.

Just two weeks ago, Seyi and Princess received the fewest votes, and the jurors, which included Bisola, Mike, and Dorathy, decided to save Seyi from eviction.

However, Dorathy now regrets her action and has withdrawn her support for Seyi.

A fan pointed out Seyi’s offensive statement to Dorathy and expressed a wish that she hadn’t saved him. The fan tweeted, “Wish you evicted grandson, all this wouldn’t be happening.”

Dorathy responded with a simple “Same” in agreement.
