The countdown to the 7th season of the Big Brother Naija reality tv show ends today, at about 7 pm (WAT), Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will declare open the new season.

Below are some important facts to know about the Season 7 show

1. The season 7 double launch will air on July 23 and 24, 2022 across all Africa Magic stations on GOtv and DStv.
2. The launch event will not only see the return of live audiences but also performances from Fast-rising Afrobeats artists, Asake, Victony and others.
3. The season will run for 10 weeks, with the finale on Sunday, October 2, 2022.
4. Season 7 of the show will see the return of the Ninjas in the house.
5. The theme for this season is yet to be revealed but will be unveiled during the live show by Ebuka.
6. The live eviction show will be broadcast every Sunday at 7 pm (8 pm CAT).
7. There will be no ‘shower hour’ in this season of Big Brother Naija.
8. There is a grand prize of N100m worth of prizes for the eventual winner which includes an N50m cash prize, a top-of-the-range SUV, trip for two, among many others.
9. Fans will only be able to vote for their favourite Housemate via the Mobile site, Website, and the MyDStv/MyGOtv App only.
10. BBNaija fans outside Nigeria will be able to stream the show.
