In a tragic incident that unfolded in the early hours of Sunday, bandits carried out a deadly attack on Unguwan Dorowa Bakhira settlement in Maro community, located in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The attack resulted in the loss of lives, including the only teacher in the community.

The primary school teacher, identified as Mr. Sunday Akor, was a native of Benue State. He served as the sole classroom teacher in the local primary school. Additionally, a couple was also killed during the bandit attack.

Community leader Maigari Ben confirmed the incident, assuring that no one was kidnapped during the attack. He stated, “They killed a man and his wife and a primary school teacher, Mr. Sunday Akor, who was a native of Benue State. He was the only classroom teacher in the primary school in this village. No one was kidnapped.”

At the time of this report, attempts to reach ASP Mansir Hassan, the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, were unsuccessful.
